What Comes in the Weatherproof Upgrade

Three Components. One Complete Door-Sealing System.

Each component addresses a different failure point around the Jeep door opening. Together, they add the missing barrier, restore factory seal pressure, and improve OEM rubber contact.

Add the Missing Body-Side Seal Barrier

Model-matched body-side seals install around the Jeep door opening to add an outer barrier against water intrusion and wind. This helps close the major leak path left exposed by the factory setup.

Helps block water and air at the door opening
Jeep Noodles compression support showing where the inserts reinforce the factory Jeep door seal

Restore Factory Door-Seal Compression

Jeep Noodles™ install inside the factory door seals to reinforce weak pressure points and help the OEM rubber clamp more tightly against the body-side seal barrier.

Improves seal contact and helps reduce wind noise
JeepLeakFixed cleaner and conditioner for cleaning and reconditioning factory Jeep door seals

Clean and Recondition the OEM Seals

The cleaner removes dirt, residue, and buildup while the conditioner helps restore flexibility and grip so the factory rubber can make better contact and seal more consistently.

Not Generic Weatherstripping

Thin by Design. Built for the Gap Jeep Left Behind.

The JeepLeakFixed body-side seal is selected for the narrow, unsealed path around Wrangler door openings. Unlike bulky universal weatherstripping, its thin profile adds the missing barrier without changing how the door naturally closes.

Proper Sealing Comes From Controlled Compression

Door seals are designed to compress to approximately 50% of their original profile. That compression creates consistent rubber-to-rubber contact while still allowing the door, latch, hinges, and factory seals to operate naturally.

Thin profile preserves natural door closure
Creates controlled rubber-to-rubber contact
Adds sealing protection without excess pressure
Follows the Wrangler-specific body-side path

Bulky Universal Seals

  • Can add too much material between the door and body
  • May make the door harder to close or latch
  • Can create excessive pressure on factory weatherstripping
  • May distort alignment and create additional sealing problems
  • Leaves the installer guessing about profile and placement

JeepLeakFixed Thin-Profile Seal

  • Selected for the Wrangler body-side door-opening path
  • Allows the door to close naturally without added force
  • Supports approximately 50% controlled seal compression
  • Creates consistent rubber-to-rubber sealing contact
  • Works with the factory door-seal system instead of overpowering it
You are not buying a random strip of rubber. You are adding the missing body-side barrier with the correct profile, compression, placement, and support for your Jeep.
Restore Lost Door-Seal Compression

Replace Weak Compression. Add What Jeep Left Out.

Each front door receives two Jeep Noodles™ because the upper and midpoint sections of the factory door seal perform different jobs. One replaces the collapsed factory insert where water enters the door-seal path. The second adds support where Jeep installed none and where that water is supposed to exit.

Installation Videos May Show the Original Red Jeep Noodles™

Current kits include the upgraded black Jeep Noodle 2.0™. It provides stronger compression support but installs exactly the same way as the original Jeep Noodles™ shown in our model-specific videos.

Collapsed hollow factory Jeep door-seal insert beside a fuller Jeep Noodle compression insert

The Factory Insert Collapses. Jeep Noodle 2.0™ Rebuilds the Support.

The original upper-door insert has a hollow internal profile. After years of repeated door pressure, it can flatten in on itself and stop pushing the outer weatherstrip firmly toward the body. Jeep Noodle 2.0™ replaces that failed internal support with a fuller profile that helps the factory seal regain its shape.

Factory Insert Hollow, flattened and no longer providing consistent outward support.
Jeep Noodle 2.0™ Fuller internal profile that rebuilds shape and compression inside the OEM seal.

Rebuild Compression Where Water Enters—and Where It Exits

Wrangler door seals have two critical compression zones. The upper A-pillar area controls water leaving the Freedom panel gutter. The midpoint section helps direct that water outward. When either area loses its shape, water can move past the weakened seal and into the Jeep.

Upper Water Entrance

Replace the Weak Factory Insert

The Freedom panel gutter releases water near the top of the door. The upper Jeep Noodle 2.0™ replaces the collapsed factory insert and rebuilds compression where water first enters the door-seal path.

Midpoint Water Exit

Add the Support Jeep Left Out

Jeep installed no internal insert through the midpoint section. The second Jeep Noodle 2.0™ supports the hollow seal from inside, helping restore the area where water is intended to continue outward and exit.

Door Seals Need Controlled Compression to Work

A properly supported seal compresses to roughly half its original profile when the door closes. That controlled compression creates consistent rubber-to-rubber contact without making the door harder to close or adding unnecessary pressure to the latch, hinges, and factory weatherstripping.

Replaces the collapsed upper factory insert
Adds midpoint support where Jeep installed none
Restores a fuller and more consistent seal profile
Improves rubber-to-rubber contact without excess pressure
The Third Part of the System

A Weatherproof Seal Starts With Clean, Flexible Rubber.

The body-side seal adds the missing barrier. Jeep Noodles™ rebuild compression. The seal cleaner and conditioner restore the OEM rubber surfaces that both components depend on.

Dirty & Dry
Dirty, dry and contaminated Jeep Wrangler header seal before cleaning and conditioning

Contamination Breaks the Contact Surface

Dirt, residue and dry rubber create uneven sealing surfaces where water can remain, spread and follow narrow gaps toward the interior.

Clean & Restored
Cleaned and conditioned Jeep Wrangler header seal with restored sealing surface

Clean Rubber Can Make Cleaner Contact

Removing contamination and conditioning dry factory rubber helps the seal conform more evenly and improves the rubber-to-rubber contact needed for weatherproofing.

A Dirty Seal Can Become a Water Path

Wrangler door, Freedom panel, header and rear hardtop seals are constantly exposed to dirt, pollen, road grime, heat, water and old protectant residue. Over time, the rubber becomes contaminated, dry and less able to conform to the adjoining seal.

1
Clean the contact surfaces Remove dirt and residue from the OEM rubber surfaces that must press directly against one another.
2
Condition dry factory rubber Restore flexibility so the weatherstripping can follow the shape of the adjoining seal more evenly.
3
Reestablish rubber-to-rubber contact Prepare the OEM seals to work with the body-side barrier and restored Jeep Noodle™ compression.

Three Components. Three Different Jobs.

The complete system addresses barrier loss, compression loss and contaminated factory sealing surfaces.

1

Body-Side Seals

Add the missing secondary barrier around the Wrangler door opening.

2

Jeep Noodles™

Rebuild lost internal compression at the upper and midpoint door seal.

3

Seal Cleaning & Conditioning

Restore clean, flexible OEM rubber surfaces for more consistent sealing contact.
