Universal weatherstrip is usually made to be thick, bulky, and adaptable across many vehicles. That creates problems on the JK 2-door platform because the front door openings have tight seal paths and limited space for added material.
This system is designed around the JK 2-door’s actual sealing problem: missing front body-side sealing, lost door seal compression, and dried-out OEM rubber contact. The goal is controlled seal interaction — not oversized rubber, door fight, or trial-and-error weatherstrip.
